HUNTER WILLIAMS

Founder & Instructor

After falling in love with teaching indoor cycling while living in the greater LA area, Hunter decided to create her own space for riders to fall in love with indoor cycling in Santa Barbara. Hunter is extremely passionate about creating a strong and inclusive community, providing an incredible workout, and motivating riders to reach for new limits.

At Tidal Cycle House, Hunter is driven to grow and find new and innovative ways to take workouts to the next level, including blending cycling and strength training. In her classes you can expect to sweat, to dance, and to find a space to let go of the outside world.

Beyond Tidal, Hunter is also a certified Health Coach, helping clients create sustainable nutrition habits that are centered around whole foods.

Aidan Williams

Founder & Instructor

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Aidan's been passionate about health and wellness his whole life. As an avid athlete, Aidan was immersed in sports and always pushing himself to the limits.

With an affinity for full body, high-intensity workouts, Aidan has always been driven to test the boundaries of what the body and mind are capable of doing. That natural born drive was fueled even further when his wife, Hunter, made the decision to open a spin studio in his home town, and thus, Tidal Cycle House was born.

At Tidal, Aidan strives empower confidence in each of his riders - expect house music with latin twists, and a whole lot of fun each of his classes. Outside of Tidal, Aidan owns and operates a vacation rental business and enjoys spending his free time travelling, and spending quality time with his wife Hunter, daughter Indi, and Aussiedoodle Bali.

Andi Schloss

Director of Training

Andi is an enthusiast of many things including boy-momming, being in the ocean, working out and taking family trips to Stockton (hometown!), Tahoe, and Mammoth (especially in an RV!) When she’s not hyping up her Tidal Cyclists, she is working at her kids’ school, volunteering at her church, Anthem Chapel, or reviewing local restaurants with her food vlog @andieatssb.

Andi enjoys training other instructors to find what makes them unique on the podium and to bring that uniqueness to class! In her classes, you can expect to work hard, have fun, and test your limits.

Gen Wallace

Studio Manager & Instructor

Gen grew up in San Diego and graduated from UCSB in the spring of 2025. Ironically, she was scared to ride a bike for years after her mom accidentally ran over her ear (long story, ask her about it sometime!), but she finally tried indoor cycling in March 2024 when the studio opened—and instantly fell in love.

A year later, she became an instructor, and it’s now one of her favorite things to do. She grew up dancing, so good music is at the heart of every class. She’s also chronically online—so be prepared for a little pop culture commentary during her ride.

Fares Ahmad

Instructor

Chicago-born and Miami-raised, Fares brought his energy to Santa Barbara three years ago to pursue his PhD at UCSB, exploring the intersection of compassion and technology. After a decade scaling innovations at P&G and Apple, he's now channeling his passion for human connection into the cycling studio while training to become a somatic psychotherapist.

When he's not in class, you'll find him swimming, dancing, biking, fostering authentic connections, or enjoying nature walks with his dogs Bambi and Nube. Fares' classes are all about community—creating a safe space where riders can feel the beat and empower each other's intentions. Expect to sweat, move with musicality, and tap into a collective flow state that'll leave you energized and connected.

Jess Sussman

Instructor

A mom to two young kids plus a fluffy Bernedoodle, Jess is a licensed psychologist and east coast transplant, calling Santa Barbara home since 2019. As a former gymnast, she finds strength and movement to be a form of self expression.

She found Tidal soon after having her daughter, needing a place to get lost in a dark room and find herself. Tidal has been that place for her to grow her confidence and find meaning and purpose in her day to day.

Kaitlin Schroeder

Instructor

Kaitlin is a Colorado native working on her doctorate in Molecular Biology at UCSB. Before moving to Santa Barbara, she worked as a forensic drug analyst for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and taught at CycleBar Louisville outside Boulder.

When she’s not in the lab or in the studio she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Brian, and cat, Grimm. She also enjoys running, soccer, and cooking.

Miguel Perez

Instructor

Before becoming an instructor, Miguel spent 9 years as a rider getting to soak up the amazing community surrounding spin and is excited to share his passion with everyone who walks through the doors. His rides are all about confidence, connection, and letting loose. Expect to sing, dance, and sweat it out while leaving everything on the bike.

For him, Tidal is more than a workout, it’s a safe space where everyone belongs. Come let your hair down, push harder than you thought possible, and walk out feeling stronger and more confident than when you clipped in. His playlists? A mix of pop, hip hop, and EDM bangers to keep the vibes high and the energy nonstop.

Miranda Nillo

Instructor

An 805 local and Gaucho alumni, Miranda finds teaching at Tidal one of her favorite things to do in Santa Barbara. You’ll find she enjoys playing the tunes of Taylor Swift and an occasional 80s rock song but her guiltiest of pleasures is sneaking in a soundtrack song from one of her favorite movies. Her favorite bike move is an isolated lever hold to really get the quads firing up.

However, being a spin instructor is just one of many hats that she wears as she also is an avid rugby player, Pilates instructor, and public service employee. Life is always an adventure for her and she will always be down to try something new!

Noelle Jimenez

Instructor

Originally from San Diego, Noelle is a 4th year Psychology and Brain Sciences major at UCSB. She grew up competitively dancing and found a passion for indoor cycling during her senior year of high school and has been riding ever since.

After working front desk at the studio, she decided to take a leap of faith in the beginning of 2025 and audition to be an instructor. In her classes, you can look forward to a fun mix of music and fun choreo to make you move and sweat.

Sofia Clifford

Instructor

A UCSB alum and Boston native, Sofia brings her love for EDM/house music to the bike. After 8 years as a rider, she decided to take the leap to the podium at CBSB and never looked back.

Sofia is all about heavy hills, big beat drops, and riding unapologetically you. Off the bike Sofia is a paralegal by day, and spends every other second at the beach.

Stephanie Schenone

Instructor

Steph is a 4th year biopsych major at UCSB. She has a passion for all things health and wellness. She is a certified personal trainer with a special love for nutritional science.

She fell in love with the bike when she was 15 and had always dreamed of being up on the podium. In October of 2024, the studio finally allowed me to make that dream a reality!
